February 2011
  • The Winter Writing Festival is still ongoing. In fact, we've just reached the midpoint.
See my blog post about being Stuck in the Middle.
January 2011
  • Happy New Year!
  • Participating in the Winter Writing Festival sponsored by the Ruby-Slippered
Sisterhood. It begins on January 10th and ends February 28th.
  • Finished writing my Medical manuscript; it just needs a final polish, and then I can
    send it off.

December 2010
  • Merry Christmas!
  • We're back in Brazil and taking care of all those little things, like getting the kids
enrolled in school, etc. It feels like we've come home!
  • I received a response on the Harlequin Medical partial I sent in. They like it and want
to see the rest of the book. Good news! Now I just have to finish writing it.
October 2010
  • Sent off two requested partial manuscripts. One to Harlequin Medicals and one to
    Harlequin American Romance.
  • We're moving back to Brazil! We've gotten medical clearance for the family and are
packing our bags. Very exciting news. We'll be in Sao Paulo. Our furniture was
picked up by the movers and is now waiting for us to arrive at our new house
(which has a beautiful tiled courtyard and garden out back).
July-August 2010
  • RWA's national convention was a fantastic experience, as always. I love meeting up
with industry friends, fellow contest finalists, and critique partners.
June 2010
  • I've submitted two of my Single Title romantic suspense manuscripts, THE
SURROGATE and THE CHAMELEON EFFECT to several publishers. I'm hard at
work on the third book of the series, THE AGENDA.
March 2010
  • I received the call that I double-finaled in Romance Writers of America's 2010
Golden Heart contest with WANTED:DEAD and CAUGHT BENEATH THE
MISTLETOE. See list of finalists here.
November 2009
  • It's National Novel Writing Month, when writers
scratch, claw and cry their way to 50,000 words in
a single month. Will I make it? I'll let you know
when I arrive!
October 2009
  • HIS BY DESIGN won the contemporary category of the Molly contest, and THE
AGENDA was a runner up in the romantic suspense category.
September 2009
  • September 21st launch of the 2009 Golden Heart finalists' blog. Come check us out:
Ruby-Slippered Sisterhood. There'll be some fabulous giveaways.

August 2009
  • Both THE AGENDA and HIS BY DESIGN are going on to the final round of the
2009 Molly contest! THE AGENDA will be judged by an agent, and HIS BY
DESIGN will be judged by an editor.
